For over 30 years, we have researched, developed and implemented the leading practices in horticulture in order to grow trees that not only look beautiful, but also have optimal performance after transplant. Our passion stems down throughout the organization and provides focus on leading the industry towards innovative, sustainable horticultural practices that produce the highest quality material.
There is a delicate balance between too much of a good thing and not enough. From finding the optimum nutrient balance to preventative pest management to root pruning, it is a fine balance to provide the best plant care in a nursery setting. Cherrylake puts a strong emphasis on overall plant health with dedicated teams and employees working around the clock. By promoting plant health, we make our trees, shrubs and palms strong, sustainable, vigorous and long living.
Since its founding in 1985, Cherrylake has strived to produce the highest quality root systems in containers. We have trialed and experimented with many different growing systems and techniques, partnered with leading research institutions and helped pioneer the ACT standards for certified container trees. We are committed to providing a quality root system that has lateral, fibrous outward roots that are ready to anchor into native soil and immediately feed the healthy growth of the plants for years to come.
Our commitment to root management stems from our passion for delivering beautiful, functional and sustainable landscapes.
RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
We are good stewards of our environment and we diligently protect the quality of our air, land and water. We realize that we do not own our land, but rather we are borrowing it from future generations. Our best management practices help ensure our horticultural practices are in line with this philosophy.
