Wellness Way & Parkside Trails

Wellness Way is a large-scale development plan in South Lake County, Florida, focused on creating a new kind of community focused on health, wellness, and preserved open spaces. It features a mix of housing, retail, office space, and recreational facilities. A major part of the development is the Olympus sports complex project, a global destination for athletic training and competition.

This development is set along an 8-mile roadway that includes residential, commercial, and recreational components. Spanning more than 15,000 acres, this large sector plan is beginning to take shape in an area facing a significant water shortage. While the entire stretch is lined with Bahiagrass, the two-mile section landscaped by Cherrylake stands out for its addition of trees and shrubs, all intentionally selected for their drought tolerance and long-term sustainability. The success of this section inspired the City to begin incorporating trees and shrubs along the rest of the corridor.

As the City of Clermont revised its landscape ordinance to address ongoing water constraints, it collaborated closely with Cherrylake as a trusted local partner to develop strategies that balance growth with responsible resource management. We’re proud to play a role in helping the community design landscapes that thrive within environmental realities.

Extending directly from Wellness Way is Parkside Trails, a Pulte-developed community featuring single-family homes, townhomes, a high-end gated section, and an amenity center. Installation included a diverse mix of Oaks, Pines, Sabal Palms, Crape Myrtles, Ligustrums, Muhly Grass, Fakahatchee Grass, and Firebush, blending native plant material inspired by Wellness Way’s palette with traditional landscaping to add color and familiarity for residents.

Together, these projects represent a shared vision for the future of Central Florida, uniting development, beauty, and ecological responsibility in every landscape we help bring to life.
